Use your time here to develop relationships with the men in the rehab program. The manual labor is only an avenue to the relationships–it is not the end goal. I suggest you make a real effort to spend time with the men, particularly at meals. DO NOT SIT AS JUST YOUR TEAM.I would give a 4 of recommendation. VIsit this place. God is using it to do amazing redemptive work.

The Village of Hope provided a house for us on their property. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, 1 tub. beds for everyone. full kitchen. our cost was 800 euro for food/lodging/transportation for 7 people throughout one month.

Near to a train that can take you to pretty much anywhere Also, Village of Hope frequently let us take one of their vehicles to get groceries or go to a neighboring city’s church service–but you have to drive standard
Transportaion isn’t a big issue. The Village of Hope is in the middle of nowhere, but there is a train station within walking distance.
