People’s Opinions
During the day Georgetown is fairly safe to walk around in a group of no less than 3 people. Though there are a lot of catcalling, honking and whistling, but no one ever felt threatened. However, we were told many times by locals to not be out at all after dark (around 6/6:30 pm) so don’t risk it.

The whole squad, then one team stayed at Full Gospel Assembly in Georgetown. It was 8 rooms, ( 3 A/C rooms, others without), each room has a queen size bed which could fit at least 3 people. A team of 6 (maybe even 7) could fit into one room comfortably ( though some will sleep on their sleeping pad in the floor). There is a kitchen that is shared between everyone living there with a refrigerator, stove top, oven, and most needed utensils. There are two showers and two toilets at the end of the hallway and each of the A/C rooms have restroom and shower.Cost:$40 per night per roomA/C $50 per night per roomContact info:Sharon Stewart(592) 22 63069(592) 22 54039fgfellowship@yahoo.com

This is an English speaking country but it’s very Caribbean English so at times it’s hard to understand, but asking them to speak slowly will work just fine.
