People’s Opinions

  1. Ministry here was a 3. We partnered with Pastor Benjamin and went into villages and prayed over the believers there, doing door to door ministry. One day we led a mini “crusade” gathering people into the street and there was preaching and dancing by the Nepalis and we sang songs with fun hand motions for everyone’s entertainment. It was a great time! We got to know the pastor’s children since they spoke English well (the pastor not so much). We sang worship and did a testimony and sermon almost every night on the rooftop of the place we stayed for the pastor and his family with our translator translating for them.

People’s Opinions

  1. We slept on the second floor of a church! There were two bedrooms downstairs for the boys and the married couple in our group. The rest of the girls, about 21, slept in a big room with a balcony (great for brushing your teeth!) We ate all meals on the rooftop. There are two bathrooms, one inside (for short jobs) and one outside (for long jobs) but most people used the one outside since it didn’t have any flies or smell.

People’s Opinions

  1. There’s a little corner store at the end of the field that Reuben (our host) house is in. It’s across from the building with the gates with pineapples on it. The store has really cheap, pretty good chow mien. It was a good opportunity to build relationships with the women that worked there and get cheap food. It was 25-30 rupees for a plate
  2. $4/person/day
All meals were provided for by our host
  3. This is the best place to go for internet outside of where your living but don’t send to many people there at once or the internet will crawl. The food is OK but keep your expectations low and the menu is deceptive. For example, a cheeseburger is lettuce, tomato, a bunch of mayo, and cheese. Choose wisely and don’t go hungry.

People’s Opinions

  1. We were sent to Urlabari by Agape Missions International in Kathmandu and our host there, Brian, sent with us Bipin as our translator. He is so great! Get to know him! He is so wise, pours out and gives so much of himself to ministry, and he is on FIRE (and that’s his favorite word you’ll soon find out) for Jesus. He even treated me and the other people in our group who had birthdays while we were there. We also used Milan, Pastor Benjamin’s son, to translate for us at times. They are both very good translators!!
