People’s Opinions
We had ATL this month and ended up partnering with Zebaoth church. They were so welcoming, especially since we just stumbled upon their church with no warning that we were coming (ATL life). They allowed us to help in their church in many capacities, but our main ministry was just building relationships and encouraging the persecuted church. It was so humbling to get to encourage the people of Zebaoth.

We were so blessed to be given free lodging when we found Zebaoth. They let us stay in their guest house all month for free!
Food / Meals
Food / Meals in Bogor, Indonesia What did you eat? Where did you get the food? Cost (per person per day in USD)? Contact info (if applicable).
People’s Opinions
We mostly ate street food, which was pretty cheap and didn’t cause any of us to get sick. We also had a kitchen and a grocery store/mall down the street so we cooked some too. Indonesia was pretty cheap all in all, so finding food in budget shouldn’t be an issue.
Transportation

People’s Opinions
We took the train to get from Jakarta to Bogor. It was super easy and cheap and only about a 1.5 hour trip. We mostly walked because the church wasn’t far from the guest house. But we would sometimes take the small local transport buses for cheap, especially when it was pouring. They take specific routes though so make sure you ask to see if it’s the right one to get on. Grab is also a good idea.

Communication
Communication in Bogor, Indonesia Did you have cell reception / Internet service? Where? Carrier / Provider, where did you get phones / SIM cards, cost? Country code?
People’s Opinions
Honestly getting SIM cards was a huge headache. It took 2 days total. We tried buying some off the street but they didn’t work. We eventually went to a mall where we stayed in a phone store for a few hours before we were finally able to get what we needed. It is cheap, but wasn’t easy.
