  1. The owners of Thumbi View Lodge in Cape Maclear (a popular debrief location for squads) is in the process of opening a lodge in Lilongwe. They are willing to offer the same rate for squads as they do at Thumbi View Lodge. This may be a good option for mini debriefs or staying a night or two over travel days. Contact Noleen at info@thumbiviewlodge.com to make bookings.
  2. We are currently staying on site, at Youth Care Ministries. It’s $3/person per night. The staff are extremely accommodating. They even strung a line to our building from the boys’ building, so we can have electricity at night. Aunty Mercy feeds us and helps get water for bathing and washing the dishes.*Disclaimer: if they string a wire to the house, make sure it is safe. We may have had an electrocution incident. Everyone is fine. And thankfully nothing more serious happened. But just be aware.
