  1. We stayed for the month of April 2017 at Butterfly Space- it’s a volunteer lodge. The co-owner that we were closely with, Alice, has relocated to Lilongwe. Josie is very nice and is from the UK.

  1. Kaya Papaya is an amazing restaurant owned by a woman named Grace, from Alaska!! Prices are expensive for Malawians, aka- eggs and toast is $3 USD… Grace is heart warming, loves Jesus, and is super hungry spiritually!! Aqua Africa- they’re nachos are so delicious!! Again- expensive: $6 USD… Totally worth it for a splurge though!!

To buy a new SIM card, plus minutes to talk, and data cost me $15… we got WiFi at butterfly space for $1.25?/day (mind you- it’s only when the power is on, which is sometimes rare, and you can only use it in the administration part of the lodge…) Aqua Africa also has WiFi that you don’t have to pay for, but sometimes it’s not working… so a data bundle is more consistent if you need it.

Pleaseeee seek out: Het (UK Ngo worker) has questions about how evolution and creation and how it works- still seeking Happy Coconut (art vendor- hungry for seeking truth- he’s an awesome guy with a big heart and generally cares for people)!! Simple (art vendor- loves worship sessions) Nelson (art vendor- wants more of Jesus) Happiness (art vendor- wants more spiritual conversations)
